School Rules

These are purely IC. You CAN break these, but your character may suffer consequences.

If you are neither enrolled, a staff member, nor a pre-approved visitor on the school's grounds, you shall be asked to state your business. If you have none of our interest, then leave, lest you be considered a trespasser.

Do not attack, kill, steal from or curse staff members, students or visitors, without the explicit permission of a staff member.

Be mindful of how you conduct yourself around the younglings. Staff will determine subjectively what is and is not appropriate behaviour.

Keep sex and bare genitalia, rumps and breasts (excluding to breastfeed) to your dormitories, The Woozy Veil tavern, or off campus entirely.

Do not disfigure, damage, destroy, or steal school property without the explicit permission of a staff member.

No recreational substances besides tobacco and alcohol are to be used, traded or in the possession of anyone, on school grounds. Do not give or sell alcohol to under-age students without a staff member's permission to drink it.

If you know of another student breaking a school rule and do not report it to a member of staff, then you are equally as guilty as the perpetrator.

Do not disrupt any lessons or lectures without the explicit permission of a staff member. If you must ask a brief question, hail the teacher silently, and wait to be called upon. A longer discussion can be held out of the teacher's lesson time, at that teacher's leisure.

Any staff member has the authority to dismiss you from the grounds or to your dormitory. Upon doing so, the reasoning behind this action (if any) shall be evaluated by the school, and appropriate action shall be taken according to the findings.

Follow every staff members' instructions to the letter. Grand Masters supersede lesser teachers' authority and Queen Amora's authority supersedes theirs. If you believe that power is being abused or misused, then you may appeal to either a Grand Master or to Queen Amora as appropriate.

Only a Grand Master or the Head master can sentence you to death or torture in the school dungeons as a punishment, but eye for an eye retribution is allowed for all staff members and students. Attack a student, and staff won't necessarily prevent them from killing you. (Unless perhaps you're especially young)

OOC Info You MUST follow any rules listed here

The realm of Kuroshi is vast and vivacious. World-spanning events and political shifts will occur over time, creating special plot lines for your characters to explore as a part of this fascinating world. The thing is, I won’t always be able to GM for or even play with all of you, and so I have tried to create a useful setting in which you guys can collaboratively tell interesting stories with one-another in a pre-established world.

In the “Peoples” section, you will find a list of NPC characters that you can feel free to take control of, including teachers in a wide-range of professions. This means that if you and someone else want to role play a lesson together, then be my guests and take control of the appropriate teacher to make that happen.

Also, feel free to invent your own mission requests to be found in the school’s tavern and then embark on that mission. I want to see people just utilising this setting to have a great time. :)

You do not need to ask anyone if your character can play in this setting and be enrolled in Iechi. That’s all fine. This is to be an easily accessible environment for any who wish to use it. I have only three specifications.

No travelling to Kuroshi from another world/realm. Kuroshi is a standalone setting with a certain level of technology and specific lore describing how mana and magic works here. The finer points of the politics and warefare at play in this setting would utterly fall apart if travelling between worlds were possible. Read the lore and write something befitting.

Gods and goddesses don't actually exist in Kuroshi. Some people believe in them, but they don't exist and they have no power here. If you want to play an angelic/demonic character, that's fine. Just say that their powers come from light/dark magic rather than anything truly "divine."

Finally, your characters must be suited to a medieval-ish fantasy setting, so don't be tapping on an iPhone after beaming down from the Star Ship Enterprise. Slight historical inaccuracies can slide. We’re here to have fun, not police what was/wasn’t 100 years shy of the medieval era. No modern guns!

Other than that, make what you want and have fun!

No OOC fighting, keep it to PM. If an RP is taking place, try not to bury it in OOC.

State what area of the school you are in with square brackets at the beginning of your posts, ie. “[Hanaki's dorm]...” or “[The Flat-Front] … ,” The real setting of this room can be anywhere in the realm of Kuroshi, but you must be especially sure to state where you are in square brackets if you decide to leave the school’s grounds for the world beyond, as otherwise, things could get very confusing.

No smut profiles. I cannot be asked to fill my screen with your pedo-bait furry tentacle wolf's giant cock-voreing penis! Role-playing sex is fine, but if the story doesn't come first, you're not in the right place.

Wai of Achahtai is the owner, which is me, so listen up, bitches! If you have common sense, have read this page, and aren't a total douche pickle, I’m sure we'll get on just fine. Any questions about roleplay here, feel free to ask! :)

If you're struggling to get your character role-playing in Iechi, here's a few suggestions for you: You can enrol as a student or staff member for the school, just let me know if you want to be a staff member. You could jump right into a class, sparring or enjoying break time with another student. You might be checking the notice boards with your classmates and decide to take on a special mission/task. You may have just come to enjoy one of Iechi’s taverns or spectate an event at Iechi colosseum.

Feel free to write for general teacher and student NPCs, as well as those whose 'Control' is listed as 'Open' on the “Peoples” page. If they're not listed as 'Open,' do not use them without permission from myself.

Have fun and make awesome stories, together! ^.^
