Orlegar Mustafar
Orlegar, even at his great age never saw the world war of Kuroshi begin, nor has he once seen it even refrain for long.
Having lived for so long, he has applied himself to many things, even taking part in the war effort as a transcendental lord, able to read and understand the texts, rituals and spirits of the various nations and gods, using that knowledge to cut the necromancers, the demonic and the ghostly off from their spiritual realms, either limiting them in battle or making them absolutely useless, primed for an easy kill by an Achahtai soldier.
Orlegar took pride especially in undoing the enchantments and rituals performed on great alters, cutting off an entire enemy city from its God, defended by soldiers while he went about his delicate work, battling with the forces of magic and spirituality themselves.
Nowadays, he is too old for the battle field, and for many things really. His joints are not what they used to be. What did improve with age though was his mind. When his brain was filled to the brim, he simply lost memory of the useless or obsolete things like his childhood and any un-noteworthy people who died some two-thousand years ago in his life.
He spends his days mostly alone in the forbidden section of the school's library, reading all of its most secret texts, in scrolls, books and even stone tablets while drinking fine wine. He knows every current language spoken in the world of Kuroshi, as well as certain ancient and spiritual tongues, so only a select few texts can hide their secrets from him.
They tell of all the banned and forbidden magic, history and practices. Very few people are allowed into the restricted section, and none know so many dark secrets as Orlegar.
He has come to fancy himself as somewhat of a high intellectual, wearing his spectacles and regal robes with pride, speaking with such flourish, fluency and drawl that it'd make nobles and royals alike blush. But, no-one can deny his vast wealth of knowledge, and so, they forgive him for it.
If you need anything translated and read, or information on most any researchable topic, you're best asking Orlegar about it. He will point in the right direction, which really is quite necessary in Iechi's library, given that the sheer magnitude of its long and towering bookshelves become somewhat of a labyrinth that you very well can get lost in without his help.
