Personality

Okuro, despite his job and appearance is actually quite friendly, providing that you're on his good side. He's a massive foodie, proffering to eat singular, natural ingredients in an unaltered state, like raw meat or whole pieces of fruit.

He is not especially intelligent or well learned in anything like history, literature, politics, magic or psionics. But he has been very close to people who could survive indefinitely in the wilderness alongside him in his old swamp, and indeed, he knows everything that there is to know about nature and surviving it.

His style of combat mostly relies upon his tentacles and his gargantuan size as well as the immense strength that it grants him, so unfortunately, he can't exactly pass on anything that makes him so formidable in battle or as a dungeon master.

If you ever have no-one to talk to, you can always pay Okuro a visit, and he will likely be glad for your company, feeling very lonely without his wife since taking up his job at Iechi.

Dungeon Master

If you break Iechi's rules, one punishment you may receive is an allotted time imprisoned under supervision of the dungeon master. He can and will also torture you if your infraction or resistance warrants it.

Iechi is the military school of Achahtai, and prisoners of war and missions undertaken by the students will find themselves in this dungeon also, usually to be tortured for information, sometimes just to be kept hostage. The stench of death is ever potent in the dungeon.

Dungeon / Combat Information

Following the treachery and death of former Dungeon Master, Atammi Ko, Iechi needed a new dungeon master. Okuro Malaki was by far the best qualified applicant.

His dungeon is an underground replica of his proffered terrain, a vast enchanted swamp. There isn't a lock or cage in sight, a radical change from the traditional dungeon that Atammi ran. You might think that this would be easy to escape... But you would be gravely mistaken.

Every root, every plant, every little bug and spore of the filthy waters are both your enemy and your captor. You shan't run for long before you are completely entwined in sentient vines, hooked to your flesh at every available point by three-inch thorns.

Spores will rise and latch onto your flesh, draining you of your nutrients and expelling hallucinogenic pheromones. But even if it weren't for the fact that you were in a struggle against your very prison itself, spanning two thousand acres, there is of course the dungeon's master himself, Okuro.

Okuro has mastered this terrain over 700 years. Despite standing at thirty five metres tall, and being able to stretch himself 60 metres across, Okuro can navigate the swamp at unbelievable speed, tentacles stabbing into the earth and latching onto trees to practically catapult himself forward with a dragon's strength.

You'll have a hard time cutting or bludgeoning a substantial amount of damage into Okuro. Not because his skin is particularly hard, but because his sheer size makes it so very thick. Magic is more effective, but he can breathe in water, and the swamp will quickly do away with any fire spells, so curse magic is best. Okuro greatest weakness is to psionics.

He uses nothing but his body and the environment around him, so watch his teeth, watch his hands, watch his tentacles, and don't let him belly flop you.
